Pokey Joe Cilantro

Coriandrum sativum. A better tasting cilantro than the standard slow-bolting varieties, it lacks the soapy flavor that turns some people off to cilantro. Slow growing and bushy means abundant leaf harvest. If allowed to flower, cilantro is great at attracting beneficials – notably syrphid flies, which eat aphids. Also an abundant source of fresh coriander seeds in late summer. Tolerates light frost. 50 days.
