Mrihani basil


Ocimum basilicum. Originating from eastern Africa, this unique basil has a distinct anise aroma and is traditionally used as a perfume as well as a culinary herb. I love using it as a garnish in pho, and dried leaves add a nice flavor to herbal teas. Loved by bees. Frost intolerant. 50-60 days.
