San Marzano tomato


Solanum lycopersicum. A strain of the classic Italian heirloom canning tomato developed in Parma, Italy that was developed for the canning industry and considered one of the best paste tomatoes of all time. Indeterminate vines produce ample clusters of 4-6 oz fruits that are easy to peel and cook down quickly. Flesh is deep red and substantial, flavor is rich. Provide extra calcium to avoid blossom end rot. 75-80 days.
