Aji Amarillo pepper


Capsicum baccatum. This late season pepper ripens a bright, waxy yellow color and has a truly unique tropical citrus flavor and moderate spiciness. Fruits are small, around 2” with very few seeds. In Peru, aji peppers are dried and powdered, often smoked, or made into a paste and used in a wide variety of dishes. We love putting smoked, dried aji pepper powder in soups and on roasted potatoes. 120 days.
