Carolina Broadleaf mustard

Brassica juncea. These lovely chartreuse mustard greens become impressively large before bolting. Uniform and resistant to blights, they also appeared to resist flea beetle infestation better than other mustard greens I have grown. The flavor is deliciously sweet and buttery, especially when young. Wonderful slow-cooked in the southern style with bacon. 20 days baby, 45 days full size.
