Sweet William

Dianthus barbatus. Originating in southern Europe, Sweet William is a compact biennial heirloom in the carnation family that has been grown since the 1500’s. It provides continuous, densely packed blooms of seductive, sweetly spiced flowers from late spring until frost. Great as a cut flower in bi-color shades of red, magenta, pink and white. Edible petals make a fun addition to salads. 100-120 days.
