Banatka wheat

$5.00

A cross of two Eastern European landrace wheat varieties known for their rich flavor and excellent baking qualities, from grain preservationist Eli Rogosa. This variety was grown at our farm in partnership with the Rogue Valley Heritage Grain Project, and in our trials it rated highest for yield, biomass production (think mulch!), and ease of threshing by simple at-home methods. Sow in November for summer harvest.

Packets contain one ounce – enough to seed around 100 square feet
